Brain Awareness 2025

National Brain Awareness Week takes place from March 10th to 16th 2025. This annual initiative is lead by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland and partners to promote greater awareness and understanding of the impact of living with a neurological condition as well as the need for investment in services, research and prevention. 

The Huntington’s Disease Association of Ireland (HDAI) is a member of the Neurological Alliance of Ireland and supports #BrainAwarenessWeek2025 together with many other patient organisations and research groups.

Focus on the Brain

Dementia Understand Together and the HSE  Brain Awareness Week theme, ‘Focus on the Brain’ reminds us of just how amazing our brains are and how important it is to look after them. Is never too late, or too early to start looking after our brain, as we can build reserve in our brain, protect it from 'wear and tear' and potentially decrease our risk of developing dementia.
