Fundraising
Many of our members and friends have been remarkable in fundraising through Mini Marathons, Dublin City Marathon, Balla Walk, Line dancing classes, auctions and socials, bag packing, school events and charity swims. This support and energy is very much appreciated.

Dancing
A Charity Tea Dance for HDAI took place on 13th February at the Ard Ri Hotel Tuam.Thanks to Ann and her friends for helping to organise this enjoyable event.
Phil and Geraldine continue to raise awareness and support for HD through their dancing. Geraldine teaches Line Dancing Classes in Wicklow with proceeds going to HDAI.
Mini Marathon
HDAI's members and friends raised a magnificent €4,664 in the ladies 2010 Mini Marathons in Castlebar and Dublin in 2010. I
Dublin City Marathon
Corporal John Carroll, Reserve Defence Forces marched in full uniform (boots, backpack, helmet etc) for a staggering 26 miles in 2010 to raise €5,100 in support of people affected by HD.
Josie, Sinead and Patricia also participated in 2010 raising a much appreciated € 1,208.
Balla Walk
A 10 mile Charity Walk takes place in Balla, Co. Mayo in July every year. Ann and Margaret organise a group of walkers to take part and raise sponsorship for HDAI. This gives tremendous support and awareness for HD in this area.
